West Covina Hosts Easter Eggstravaganza

WEST COVINA, CA, MARCH 13, 2018 – The City of West Covina expects hundreds of children and their families to turn out for the annual egg hunt festivities on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  To accommodate the growing popularity of the event, this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza will be held at two locations simultaneously.  There will be appearances by Bunny Brian and his friends at both parks throughout the morning between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

The Easter Eggstravaganza is a free event featuring egg hunts for children of all ages.  The first egg hunt at both locations will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. for children ages 1 – 2 years old. One parent per child will be permitted to enter the hunt area.


The second egg hunt will follow at approximately 10:20 a.m. and will have separate hunt areas for ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12-year olds.  No parents will be allowed to enter the hunt area for age groups 3-12 years old.  In addition, ten lucky children will find “Special Eggs” to win a grand prize gift basket. 


In addition to the egg hunt, the Easter Eggstravaganza will also feature arts and crafts, a picture booth, and a petting zoo.  Be sure to arrive on time to enjoy all the event has to offer!
