Shannon Yauchzee is a native of Southern California born in nearby Whittier, a twenty-year resident of the San Gabriel Valley and currently resides with his family in San Dimas. As his hobby, Shannon serves as a high performance-driving instructor for the Pacific Region of the BMW Car Club of America and the Southern California Chapter Audi Club.

Shannon is a graduate of Pomona Cal Poly University's School of Engineering, where he earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is also a registered California Professional Civil Engineer.

Shannon was previously employed in the private sector with Willdan Associates, a public sector engineering firm. He then served as the City of West Covina's Building Official for six years and has continued serving the City of West Covina as the Public Works Director and City Engineer. He also serves as the City's traffic engineer and building official. He is dedicated to providing the community the highest levels of customer service and quality.
