AMENDMENTS TO THE
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN REPRESENTATIVES OF
MANAGEMENT FOR THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
AND
WEST COVINA POLICE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION
JULY 1, 2007 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010
The parties agree to a two-year contract extension, terminating after June 30, 2012. In addition, the following sections shall be amended.
C. Salary Increase July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009
This section shall be amended as follows:
C. Salary Increase July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011
D. Salary Increase July 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009
This section shall be amended as follows:
D. Salary Increase July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011. Effective the first day of the pay period beginning on or after July 1, 2011, all classifications in the unit shall receive a two and one-half percent (2 _%) salary increase above their classifications' current assigned salary range which was in effect in the salary range schedule on June 30, 2011
E. Salary Increase January 1, 2010
This section shall be amended as follows:
E. Salary Increase January 1, 2012. Effective the first day of the pay period beginning on or after January 1, 2012, all classifications in the unit shall receive a two and one-half percent (2 _%) salary increase above their classifications' current assigned salary range which was in effect in the salary range schedule on December 31, 2011
SECTION 10. UNIFORM AND MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE - In Lieu of Issuance
This section shall be amended as follows:
B. Allowance and Payment
2. Effective January 1, 2011, the annual uniform and maintenance allowance shall increase to one thousand ($1,000) dollars.
SECTION 16. VACATION
A. Limitation - Vacation Leave Accrual
This section shall be amended by adding the following:
4. Unit employees shall receive a one-time (additional) 24 hours vacation leave accrual effective July 1, 2009 and a one-time (additional) 24 hours vacation leave accrual effective January 1, 2012.
