Mayor Miller called the following speakers forward who wished to address Item 1-B.

Royall Brown, West Covina resident, felt the staff report and recommendation do not properly address health risks.

Corey Warshaw, West Covina resident, concurred with Mr. Brown and stated he felt the services should go out for bid.

Community Development Commission Chung addressed issues brought up by the speakers.

CONSENT CALENDAR Treasurer’s Report for the Month of December 2004

1-A Recommendation that the Commission receive and file treasurer’s report for the month of December 2004.

West Covina Sportplex Project

1-B Recommendation that the Community Development Commission Board authorize the Executive Direct to execute an agreement for a not-to-exceed amount of $108,500 to Geomatrix Consultants, Inc. from the CDC Fund Balance to conduct Environmental Site Assessment at the 100-acre portion of the West Covina Sportsplex site (CDC property)
