2005 General Municipal Election
This ordinance was introduced at the City Council meeting of October 19, 2004. This ordinance changes the date of the City's general municipal election from the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of the odd-numbered years to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the odd-numbered years and amends the municipal code accordingly.

Request of the City of West Covina
Review traffic conditions along Charlinda Street from Citrus Street to Cameron Avenue.
Traffic Committee Recommendation:
That 25 miles per hour speed limit signs be installed and that police continue to monitor Charlinda Street for vehicles that exceed the posted speed limit.
That centerline on the curve along Charlinda Street be painted and marked with reflective pavement markers.

It is recommended that the City Council introduce the following ordinance reducing the speed limits on Azusa Avenue between Francisquito Avenue to Amar Road and on Amar Road between Temple Avenue to Nogales Street from 50 miles per hour to 45 miles per hour.
