Zone Change No. 05-02
Location: 1838 E. Workman Avenue
This ordinance was introduced at the City Council meeting of August 16, 2005. This ordinance would change the zoning of the property at 1838 E. Workman Avenue from "Residential Agricultural" (R-A) to "Multiple-Family Residential" (MF-20). The "MF-20" Zone allows for multiple-family housing at a maximum density of 20 units per acre. This ordinance will become effective 30 days after adoption, October 20, 2005. It is recommended that the City Council adopt the following ordinance:

It is recommended that the City Council authorize staff to make all immediate improvements to North Azusa Avenue, to restrict the use of the remaining funds only for immediate city street paving needs, and to annually set aside $700,000 of restricted Proposition "C" funds for five years beginning in Fiscal Year 2006-2007 for the future paving of Azusa Avenue.
