Planning Director
Jeff Anderson, Planning Director, was promoted to the position in September 2011. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography and a Master Degree in Urban Planning from Cal Poly Pomona University. He is a member of the American Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
Jeff has worked for the City of West Covina since 2000, serving as a Senior Planner, Principal Planner, and Acting Planning Manager. Prior to his employment with the City of West Covina, Jeff worked in Planning for the Cities of San Dimas, Monterey Park, and Duarte While employed with the City of West Covina, Jeff has managed entitlement processing for projects such as The Heights Shopping Center, The Curve Restaurant project, Creekside residential development, Cameron Park Gymnasium, Nissan dealership, and the expansion of the Westfield shopping center.
As the Planning Director, Jeff serves as the liaison to the Planning Commission, Planning Commission Subcommittee for Design, and the Public Arts Commission. |
