Christmas Tree Recycling Curbside Collection
West Covina single-family residents can recycle their cut Christmas tree through their curbside collection service. Athens Services will collect trees curbside between December 26, 2012 through January 11, 2013 on your regular trash collection pick-up day.

How to Recycle your Christmas Trees
Please remove all lights, tinsel, garland, plastic wraps, tree stands, wire, rope, nails and all other foreign materials from trees before recycling them. Flocked trees coated with fire retardant will be accepted.

Christmas Tree Recycling Non-Recyclable Christmas Trees
Please place your tree in the BLACK trash container if your tree is artificial or remains decorations or ornaments. If the lid does not close and the tree is too large to fit into the container, contact Athens Services at (626) 336-6100 to schedule a bulky item pick-up at least one day prior to your regular pick-up day.
