Ms. Michele McNeill graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors degree in Community Recreation. She has over 10 years of recreational experience and has worked for the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas and Encinitas, as well as Beach Cities Health District.
Most recently, she served as the Recreation Manager for Southgate Recreation and Park District (located in Sacramento, CA). In this capacity, she was responsible for the oversight of 43 parks, five community centers, two aquatic centers, and a full service Recreation Department.
Ms. McNeill believes that the City's employee longevity is a testament to the quality of life that the City supports both for their residents and their employees. She welcomes the opportunity to interact with members of the community, and to discuss a vision for the City of West Covina as it relates to healthy living, quality of life, and community service.
