Dial-A-Ride Service

The following information is from the Dial-A-Ride service brochure.  For additional detailed information on the City's Dial-A-Ride program, please refer to the Dial-A-Ride Rider's Guide.  To apply for service, complete a Dial-A-Ride Application and follow the instructions to submit it to the Community Services Department.

What is WestCo Dial-A-Ride?
WestCo Dial-A-Ride is a shared curb-to-curb service provided on an appointment basis for eligible residents of the city of West Covina. Clients may travel to/from any location within city limits and up to 3 miles outside city limits for medical appointments
Who is eligible for Dial-A-Ride services?
Residents of West Covina who are 55 years of age or older and residents that have a physician-certified disability are eligible. Eligible candidates must submit an application to the City of West Covina before they can begin using the services. Please allow 7 business days for the processing of your application.
What is the cost?
The fare is 50¢ one-way. Escorts and children under five (5) years old ride free. Fares must be paid at the time of boarding.

Monday - Friday 8 am to 5:30 pm
Saturday No Service
Sunday 8 am to 2:30 pm
last schedule pick-up is half an hour before the end of the service day.
WestCo Dial-A-Ride does not operate on the following City-observed holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day-after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
