I. REQUEST:

THAT NO PARKING ON STREET SWEEPING DAYS BE IMPLEMENTED ON WORKMAN AVENUE FROM VINCENT AVENUE TO LARK ELLEN AVENUE.

SUMMARY:

In response to a request to prohibit parking to facilitate street sweeping on Workman Avenue, a survey of the 68 affected properties was conducted. Forty-six responses were received with 36 (54%) of the properties are in favor of prohibiting parking on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 10 are not in favor, and 22 of the property owners did not respond to the survey.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:

THAT NO PARKING ON STREET SWEEPING DAYS BE IMPLEMENTED ON WORKMAN AVENUE FROM VINCENT AVENUE TO LARK ELLEN AVENUE ON THE SECOND AND FOURTH TUESDAYS OF EACH MONTH FROM 7:00 A.M. TO 3:30 P.M.
