The West Covina Rose Float Foundation is pleased to announce the selection of the sixteen (16) Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen (DOTA) that have been chosen to ride on the West Covina Rose Float Foundation's 12th consecutive entry in the Pasadena Tournament of Roses® parade to be held in Pasadena on January 1, 2010.
This year the West Covina Rose Float Foundation's entry titled "Tuskegee Airmen - A Cut Above," will pay tribute to the service, bravery and commitment of the Tuskegee Airmen. The Tuskegee Airmen is the name of the group of African American servicemen trained at Tuskegee Army Air Field in Alabama and served with distinction in World War II.
Below is a list of the honorees selected to ride on the West Covina Rose Float with their home city, and their graduating class from Tuskegee Army Air Field (43A represents the first class of 1943).
