To kick off the "5 Weeks of Green" environmental awareness programs, the City of West Covina will be hosting a FREE Electronic Waste Round-up on Saturday April 17th, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

To kick off the "5 Weeks of Green" environmental awareness programs, the City of West Covina will be hosting a FREE Electronic Waste Round-up on Saturday April 17th, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Residents can recycle old VCRs, video recorders, cameras, cell phones, computers and other electronic waste for FREE! So, come on out and take advantage of this upcoming Free opportunity at the West Covina Maintenance Yard located at 825 S. Sunset Ave., West Covina.

California state law requires residents to properly dispose of electronic waste. This event makes it easy for residents to do so, taking the worry out of proper disposal. The first 50 residents who turn in their electronic waste will receive a FREE re-usable shopping bag.
