6TH ANNUAL BUSINESS RECOGNITION DINNER
WEST COVINA, CA - The City of West Covina cordially invites you to its 6th Annual Business Recognition Dinner on Thursday, April 10th, 2008 at Hurst Ranch located at 1227 Orange Ave. in West Covina. The cocktail social for networking begins at 6:00 p.m. followed by the dinner and ceremony at 7:00 p.m.

Each year the City hosts this annual Business Recognition Dinner to recognize the outstanding achievements, and contributions of West Covina businesses. The City of West Covina and the West Covina Chamber of Commerce will be honoring a total of nineteen (19) exceptional businesses.

This year's dinner will feature two noteworthy guest speakers: Maury Wills, the Legendary Los Angeles Dodger and John H. Semcken, III. of Majestic Realty Co. Mr. Wills will be sharing stories of his celebrated baseball career and Mr. Semcken will be discussing the proposed National Football League (NFL) stadium in the City of Industry and the positive effects it will have on West Covina's businesses.

"On behalf of the City Council I would like to invite everyone to attend this years Business Recognition Dinner and join the City of West Covina in honoring nineteen West Covina businesses that make West Covina such a great place to live, work, and play. The contributions of these honorees is tremendous and I hope other local businesses and residents will come and enjoy this great opportunity to network with other businesses and our community leaders," Mayor Sherri Lane.
