Projects Out to Bid Available Online The City of West Covina Public Works Department is now using a third-party site for distribution of Capital Improvement Project (CIP) bid documents, RFQs, and RFPs. View active projects and current bid information.

The City of West Covina has adopted the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act and invites all interested licensed contractors to submit their company for inclusion on the Cities Informal Bidding Contractors List for each respective calendar year.  Interested contractors must resubmit each year. The Public Works Department of the City of West Covina invites interested contractors to complete a Contractors Interest Form to be placed on the City of West Covina’s 2016 Informal Bidding Contractor’s List.  Per California Public Contact Code 22032, any Public Works Project that is estimated to be below $175,000 is subject to the Informal Bidding Procedures set forth by the State of California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Commission.  All trade categories are subject to Informal Bidding Procedures. Contractors that are interested in being on the Informal Bidding Contractors List are required to have a current license and are subject to verification through the Contractors State License Board.  Those who wish to participate in the City of West Covina public bid process will want to review the Notice Inviting Interested Contractors.  In advance of submitting a bid a completed Contractors Interest Form must be on file with the City.
