National Night Out
Tuesday, August 1st
Kick-Off Event at Plaza West Covina:Join us for the City of West Covina National Night Out Kick-Off Event at Plaza West Covina! Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. in the JC Penney Court and include comments from the West Covina City Council and Police Chief as well as raffles and giveaways. The Plaza West Covina is located at 112 Plaza Drive in West Covina off the I-10 Freeway. After the Kick-off Event at Plaza West Covina, join your neighbors at one of several local block parties and neighborhood gatherings throughout the City as West Covina residents and businesses take a stand against crime.
Community Event at McIntyre Square:
This year McIntyre Square will be hosting a Community Event for National Night Out with dance performances by the nationally recognized dance groups from The LAB Creative Arts Studio in West Covina. Festivities will begin at 6 p.m. in the parking lot and include raffles, food, and giveaways. McIntyre Square is located at 220 S. Citrus Street in West Covina. After the event, join your neighbors at one of several local block parties and neighborhood gatherings throughout the City as West Covina residents and businesses take a stand against crime.
Neighborhood Block Parties Open to the Public*:
~ Central Bark Dog Lovers Event - Del Norte Park near the Central Bark Dog Park from 5:30pm - 8:30pm
~ West Covina Next Door Neighborhood Group Event - Shadow Oak Park from 6pm - 9pm
~ Woodside Village Apartments West Covina - starting at 6pm
~ Shamwood Neighborhood Group - starting at 6:30pm
*Additional private events not listed. There will be a total of 16 events throughout the community that night.

Businesses that would like to participate in one of the local neighborhood block parties on Tuesday, August 1st, are encouraged to contact Gerardo Rojas, Community and Economic Development Project Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested businesses are being asked to submit the Business Participation Form as soon as possible to ensure participation in this year's NNO.
