Metro Bike-To-Work Day
The 14th annual Bike to Work Day is coming on Thursday, May 15, 2008. Participants that pledge online at www.metro.net/biketowork will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win fabulous prizes. Metro is planning on having an even bigger and greater event this year, including 35 pit stop locations and other local events. Learn about free rides on transit, bike safety tips, and more. In addition, the City's Go West will provide FREE RIDES to all passengers who board with their bikes or helmets.

May is Older Americans Month. The Mayor and the City Council would like to acknowledge all West Covina residents 90 years old and older with a special Birthday Celebration in their honor.
Reservations are required if you are 90 or older. The senior and one guest will be able to RSVP by contacting Senior Center Supervisor Travis Iseri at (626) 339-6057.
RSVPs must be received by Wednesday, May 21.

Caps Alzheimer's Day Services is an adult day care program specializing in care for older adults with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia.
