Line Dancing at the Senior Center
Introductory Class
May 12 - May 31, 2008
The West Covina Senior Center in partnership with the Heart and Soul Line Dance are excited to offer a new season of Line Dancing here at the Senior Center.

Line Dancing Schedule:

Mondays and Fridays: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

FULL SESSION costs for the month of May:

Mondays and Fridays: $13.00 / 5 classes (all ages)
Saturdays: $10.00 / 3 classes - 60 years and older
Saturdays: $13.00 / 3 classes - 59 years and younger


PER CLASS FEES:

$3.00 - 60 years and older
$5.00 - 59 years and younger
(due to a short month May prices are discounted)

JUNE 2008 TRIPS

Autry National Center: Museum of the American West

Two exhibitions "All Saints and the City of Angels" and "Cowboys and Presidents" will be featured on the trip date. A personal sack lunch may be brought aboard this trip. The Golden Spur Cafe is also on site for inexpensive delicious lunch.

Level of Walking: High

First 40 participants will sign up.

Sign Ups begin Tuesday, May 6th.

Cost: $4.50

Bus will depart the West Covina Senior Center at 11 a.m. the day of the trip. Expect to return at 5:30 p.m.

Pala Casino

Griffith Observatory

Since 1935, the Observatory has given tens of millions of visitors the opportunity to become observers. Griffith Observatory offers exciting shows in the Samuel Oschin Planetarium, public telescopes, observing and astronomy exhibits. Whether you are looking for a cool drink, a full meal, or a delicious dessert, the Observatory's new cafe is conveniently available to serve you, and operated by world-famous Wolfgang Puck.

First 50 participants will sign up.

Sign Ups begin Monday, May 12th. Last day to sign up is Monday June 9th!

Bus will depart from the West Covina Senior Center at 11 a.m.

Skirball Cultural Center

The galleries include multimedia installations, rare artifacts, photographs, interactive computer stations, and sound recordings. Participants may bring a personal sack lunch or purchase a meal at Zeidler's Cafe. The center is located in Los Angeles.

First 50 participants will sign up.

Sign Ups begin Tuesday, June 24th.

Cost: Free

Bus will depart the West Covina Senior Center at 10:30 a.m. the day of the trip. Expect to return approximately at 4:30 p.m.

Agua Caliente Casino

Agua Caliente Casino located in Rancho Mirage has a lot to offer for anyone that enjoys gambling, great food and a fun atmosphere. Bring a lunch or take your pick from six different restaurants including; The Steakhouse, Waters Cafe, Grand Palms Buffet, Java Caliente, The Poker Deli and the Wet Bar.

First 50 participants will sign up.

Cost: Free

Bus will depart the West Covina Senior Center at 7 a.m. Expect to return at 5 p.m.

Cost: $10 for anyone 62 +, $12 for adults

Bus will depart the West Covina Senior Center at 9:00 a.m. Expect to return at 4:00 p.m.
