Our Mission
To provide an environment that promotes the independence of senior citizens. By offering direct services and programs adapted to their specialized and changing needs and interests.

Looking For Class Instructors
The Senior Center is looking for class instructors for: line dancing, salsa, food art, digital photography, art appreciation or other classes of interest. Contact the Senior Center at 626-331-5366.

Volunteers Wanted!
Senior Citizens Center needs volunteers to work with the Nutrition Program, Data Entry, Health Programs, Social Services, Welcome Committee, Fund Raising, Special Events and much more. Call (626) 331-5366.

Tap Dancing for Seniors
Thursdays, 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.
$25 for 6 weeks

Thursday Evening Dance
Every 1st and 4th Thursday of the month from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., live-band dances are $6 including light refreshments. The Big Wednesday Band plays on the first Thursday of the month the Sentimental Journey Band on the fourth Thursday.

Senior Lunch Program
Served five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. A suggested donation of $2.00 for those 60 years and older. Persons under 60 pay $4.00, handicapped $3.00. This program is funded in part by the Older Americans Act of 1986 as amended in 1988, Los Angeles County Area Agency on Aging.

The Senior Citizens' Association of West Covina, Inc.
For West Covina residents. Meetings are every Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Cost is $5 per year. Join on Club Day. Includes a Travel Club (open to the public) offering many interesting day trips, as well as EXTENDED TOURS. Call (626) 964-6925 for more information.

Films Movies
Movies are shown free of charge every Friday. Tuesday is a video exchange; sign up to bring in your videos to share.

Senior Citizens' Commission
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month, at 3:00 p.m., in the Main Hall TV Room at the West Covina Senior Center.

Legal Assurance Program
Assists Seniors in understanding their legal concerns. Offered by attorneys at no charge. Appointment needed.

Shared Housing Program
This service selectively matches people who have extra space to spare in their home with adults seeking affordable housing in exchange for rent or service. For further information, call Social Services at (626) 331-5366.

Tax Aide Assistance
AARP people are available to seniors year round to help answer any tax questions. Call the Senior Center for a scheduled tax review or assistance (626) 331-5366.

The Spirit of Success
Meets the second and fourth Thursday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Center. This activity provides a support group for persons with Multiple Sclerosis.

55 Alive/Mature Driving Program
Offered on the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of the month at the Senior Center. Attendance can help you get a discount on your car insurance. Reservations only. Contact Marion Landesman for more information at (626) 331-5366.

Leisure Sports
Bocce ball, pinochle, bridge, canasta, table pool, checkers, chess, puzzles, indoor and outdoor shuffleboard and other leisure sports are available during regular hours. Open table tennis Tuesday, Thursday evening 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the North Wing
