-Day Care Programs-
The City of West Covina's Day Care Program is a supervised program for youngsters in kindergarten through fifth grade. Under staff supervision, youngsters participate in recreational activities as well as homework and study time until picked up by their parent or guardian. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, movies and field trips. Daily snacks are provided. Children should bring a sack lunch.

The Day Care Program is conducted Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This includes days when schools have early dismissal.

Fees Are As Follows:

Grades K through 5th Rates
Morning Care		$22.50 per week $ 4.10 per day
Afternoon Care		$62.25 per week $18.50 per day
Full Day		$78.50 per week $21.50 per day
Winter, Spring, Summer Rates
Per Week		$85.75
Per Day		$23.50
Late Pick Up Fee
$1.00 per minute after 6:00 p.m.

Fees are due on Friday for the upcoming week or weeks. Monday until 6:00 p.m. is given as a grace period. On Tuesday, in addition to your tuition, there will be a $10.00 late payment fee. Cash, checks, and money orders are accepted. Please make payments payable to THE CITY OF WEST COVINA. Parents are advised that their payments must be current in order to keep your child/ren in the program. If weekly tuition becomes delinquent more than 7 days, your child/ren will be dropped from the program.

STAFF RATIO
A ratio of one staff member per ten children will be maintained at all times. A minimum of two staff members will be on duty at all times.

EMERGENCIES
Each participant must leave a completed emergency card on file listing family emergency telephone numbers and other pertinent information.

REGISTRATION
Registration is taken at each site weekly. If paying by check or money order, please make check payable to "City of West Covina."
