City of West Covina Day Care Programs
West Covina Day Care Programs provide a stimulating, safe and
family nurturing environment for school age children before and
after school Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Activities we offer will enhance and promote the children's social,
emotional, cognitive and physical development. Some of these
activities will be homework time, snack time, arts, crafts,
recreational activities, off-site excursions, etc. Our program
provides a safe and nurturing family environment designed to
promote physical, emotional and social well being for your child/
ren. In addition, we believe that the children in our care will
develop a positive confident concept of themselves as worthwhile
individuals and as able learners.
The Day Care Programs now have e-mail access. We have had
some difficulty with the computers and city staff are working
diligently to correct the issues. Although staff has been
directed to check emails daily, we ask the parents still call and
inform staff when your child/ren will be absent, late, etc.
