Programs for Families

Storytime for Little Ones (children birth to age 5) and their caregivers is held in the Children's Room on Mondays at 11:00 AM. This program features age-appropriate books, stories, songs, fingerplays, and art projects and lasts approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Pajama Storytime, held in the Children's Room on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM, features stories, songs, art projects, and more fun for the whole family. Pajamas and teddy bears are welcome!

Family Play Days are held in the community room on the second Friday of the month at 10:00 AM. In this program, families with children birth to age 5 are invited to join in imaginative play, music, and other activities that encourage pre-reading skills in young children.

All of these programs are free and open to the public. For more information about these and other programs, please contact Kristi D'Arco, Children's Librarian, at (626) 962-3541.

Programs for Young Adults/Teens

Each month, the Library offers events for Young Adults/Teens (ages 12 - 18), including video gaming, board and card games, movies, a book club, and art projects.

In addition to these events, the Teen Advisory Board meets every month. This group is open to anyone aged 12 - 18 who is interested in giving input on library services and materials, including coming up with new programs for teens. This is a great way to get those community service hours while having fun - and eating snacks!

For more information, contact Rachel Magee, Young Adult and Reference Librarian, at (626) 962-3541.
