Possible Development of the Former BKK Landfill Site

The City of West Covina will be hosting two Community Workshops to solicit community input on a possible development at the former BKK Landfill site. The workshop will be organized as a charrette to facilitate as much public participation on the types of amenities residents would like to be developed on the former BKK Landfill site.

Workshops will run from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm:

  • Thursday, January 24, 2019 

Shadow Oak Park

2121 E. Shadow Oak Park 

  • Wednesday, January 30, 2019

Cortez Park Community & Senior Center

1305 E. Cameron Avenue

The City encourages all stakeholders to attend a workshop and provide the City with comments and feedback on the possible development.  For more information about the community meetings, please visit the City’s website at Development Opportunity - Former BKK Landfill Site. It is important to note these workshops will be ran by the City of West Covina.  The informational sessions on the former BKK Landfill site hosted by a local organization are not related to the City hosted workshops.
