He spent much of his childhood involved in West Covina sports including baseball at Walmerado Park and basketball, soccer, and tennis at Edgewood Park. Since Dario began working, the majority of his jobs have been in West Covina. His work history includes being an instructional aide for the West Covina Unified School District at Orangewood Elementary, a lifeguard at the West Covina municipal pool, and service advisor at Norm Reeves Honda West Covina.

After graduating from South Hills High School, Dario attended and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a B.S. in Finance, Real Estate, and Law. Dario’s goals for the city include enhancing public safety and making sure all residents feel safe and have access to the services they deserve, fully analyzing expenses to create a sustainable budget, and making West Covina more business friendly.
