The City of West Covina continues to monitor the public health situation associated with COVID-19 and is taking necessary precautions due to the heighten concerns over the spread of COVID-19.  

As the health and safety of our residents is of paramount importance, the City of West Covina has closed City Hall to the public and suspended all City-sponsored events until further notice.  In addition, several City facilities have been temporary closed.  Please note the City Hall has been reopened to the public.  For more information please visit the City’s webpage: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

By-District Council Elections

At the December 5, 2017, City Council meeting, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2328 implementing By-District Elections utilizing Public Plan Map 120 and setting the election sequencing for the City Council elections in November 2018 (Districts 2, 4, and 5) and November 2020 (Districts 1 and 3).

There were 20 maps submitted by members of the community and 3 maps created by the demographic consultants.  The maps are labeled 101-120 for the maps submitted by members of the public and labeled Green, Purple, Yellow for maps submitted by the demographic consultants.
